About Me
I'm Mike Silcher, a Santa Cruz–based Senior Graphic Designer with 20+ years of experience creating brand identities, product campaigns, retail experiences, photography, and marketing creative for technology, action sports, outdoor, and consumer brands.
My work spans campaign development, product marketing, advertising, packaging, retail environments, trade shows, photography direction, print, and digital media. Experience includes Apple (via WPP), O'Neill Wetsuits, Bay Photo Lab, and independent consulting for emerging and established brands.
I enjoy taking projects from concept through final execution, building creative that is visually strong, strategically focused, and production-ready. Whether developing a product launch, directing photography, creating a retail experience, or building a brand identity, my goal is the same: create work that communicates clearly and connects with people.
Over the course of my career, I've worked across global product launches, seasonal campaigns, trade shows, retail programs, packaging, and brand initiatives. The common thread has always been solving problems through design while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.
